Absolutely. Because our ingredients are sourced fresh from our gardens and everything is made from scratch, we can easily adapt our cooking classes for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets with advance notice.
Are the cooking classes family-friendly? Can children participate?
We love sharing the joy of Italian cooking with younger generations! Our daily cooking classes are incredibly family-friendly, and children are more than welcome to get their hands dusty rolling out pasta dough. What language are the cooking classes taught in?
To warmly welcome our international guests, all of our daily classes and the week-long “Cook in Tuscany” programs are conducted in English. However, as you cook side-by-side with our local Nonnas and Executive Chef, you will undoubtedly pick up plenty of authentic Italian culinary terms along the way!
Do I need to bring any special equipment or attire?
We provide absolutely everything you need for a spectacular day in the historic mill, including all professional tools, fresh ingredients, and a LaChiusa apron to protect your clothing. We simply recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes and arriving with a healthy appetite!
